Sencha has always been one of my favourite green teas. I personally favour senchas that have a strong grassy and vegetal taste. This clean and pure taste is one of those wonderful things about the world of tea that makes me smile.
I’ve had some great senchas in my days, which I typically bought at shops with direct links to tea gardens in Japan and paid a good bit of money for. With this round of tea reviews, however, I wanted to explore some senchas that are not as hard on the wallet and that are readily available in the UK. All of the senchas I selected are for everyday drinking and are not too fussy when it comes to brewing temperatures and times.
